Consistency & Flow Improvements

ZYTO was in need of a consistent website following industry standard UX/UI practices and design methods. Big Red Jelly helped them achieve this by improving the consistency in their design and the flow of the website. This was completed via the following items:

Corrected Headings

Big Red Jelly pulled the ZYTO website’s hierarchy into order, going through each page of their website and ensuring that proper SEO foundations practices were being followed. This meant ensuring that every page had one H1, and working to break down large chunks of content with H2s and H3s. This allowed for both a SEO optimized site and a better user experience on the site.

Style Updates

BRJ also worked to create a consistent and visually appealing flow for ZYTO’s website. Our strategists worked to ensure that every page had a similar look and feel, while maintaining intrigue. This was achieved by ensuring elements such as padding in sections was the same, the shape and size of photos was consistent, and elements were not overlapping incorrectly. The end result was a website with a much more refined and professional appearance.

Font Updates

The next item completed by our team was ensuring that users’ eyes could easily follow the flow of the optimized styling, by ensuring that no more than two fonts were used across the site. With a potential font change distraction, the site became much clearer and easily digestible.

Button Updates

As a conversion rate optimization opportunity, our Big Red Jelly strategist worked to ensure that all of the site’s buttons were not only linking properly, but easy to see and select. This meant ensuring that buttons on white sections had blue backgrounds and vice versa. There were further improvements here, which our strategist continued to tackle (as we discuss in our next section). This meant that buttons were no longer hidden, and more easily used by users!

Navigation Updates

With all of ZYTO’s pages improved for SEO Indexing, user experience, and conversions, the strategist began working to make navigating to these pages easier. This meant improving the site’s main navigation menu, footer, and calls to action around the website to ensure that users were able to get where they needed and to eventually convert.
