What They Do
The Fedr8tion is a home for simulation sports fans everywhere. Whether you want to play the part of team owner, coach, player, or even just a fan, you can sign up and have the time of your life. They offer leagues in sports games ranging from racing to UFC, so no matter your tastes, The Fedr8tion’s got a game for you!
What We Did
The Fedr8tion came to us needing a website that markets to a traditionally difficult group: electronic gamers. They wanted to strike a balance between nerdy and sleek. We incorporated striking, computer-themed colors and visuals that were gaming-themed without being too eccentric or pandering. We also had one of our partners build a custom signup page for their membership offer.
The whole site was built with easy management in mind. We didn’t want them to have to hire a developer later to make changes, so we gave them a walkthrough of the backend. We integrated email marketing through Constant Contact, and we also helped them start setting up a connected Shopify website.

We chose WordPress for The Fedr8tion’s website because of its flexibility and easy management on the backend. The build uses 2 or 3 main integrations, the most prominent being Constant Contact, an email marketing platform with a variety of templates to choose from. If you’re interested in doing gamer website design, we recommend using RGB-light inspired imagery, since that is trending in the gaming industry right now. In addition, we recommend erring on the side of professional-looking over casual-looking design, since it builds greater credibility.
The Fedr8tion was an advanced package project that took about 6 weeks from start to finish, comprised of 18 unique pages.
