What They Do
The MountainLand Caramel Company was established in 2017 with the primary objective of maintaining the integrity of the home-made goodness, as if Grandma were still cooking every batch of caramel. Every step of the process is hand-made and no preservatives are used to bring you the freshest, highest quality caramel available.
Their primary product is homemade, hand-wrapped caramels. But their product offering doesn’t stop there. They also make custom chocolates, covered pretzels, caramel corn, truffles, and assorted nuts. They have amazing gift box options and take custom orders.
What We Did
MountainLand Caramel Company came to us needing a website. They had never worked with professionals before, and they wanted to do it right the first time. Their biggest priorities were showcasing the various products they sell and incorporating an E-commerce software that would help them track, fulfill, and analyze orders.
The website was designed with user experience and ease of flow in mind. The homepage prominently displays the different products in a dynamic box style. Customers can purchase products on every page, with product carousels and vibrant calls-to-action to visit the online store. We used WooCommerce, WordPress’s preferred E-commerce platform, to create their online store. They needed to be able to offer coupons, discounts, and wholesale ordering in their E-commerce platform, and we configured WooCommerce to do just that!
The combination of sleek, easy-to-use design and mouthwatering photos and visuals creates a welcoming website for caramel lovers!

We chose WordPress for MountainLand Caramel Company’s website because of its flexibility and ease of use for clients. The build uses about a dozen different integrations and features, the most prominent being a deluxe integration with WooCommerce, the most advanced E-commerce software available.
If you’re interested in doing an E-commerce website design, WooCommerce is an excellent resource for managing, tracking, and analyzing online orders. In addition, we recommend using original photography and video from past E-commerce website builds. Original photography reinforces your brand, gives users a better idea of what the experience will be like, and adds to their anticipation and excitement.
MountainLand Caramel Company was a standard package project that took about 6 weeks from start to finish, comprised of 17 unique pages.
